How to issue Items whose remaining quantity shows a number of decimal places
The problem:
- For various reasons you might end up with an available quantity for a batch that is an unusual number.It can then be hard to issue this amount.
The solution is easy.
1. Select an Item for Issue. get to the item issue window as shown above.
2. Press Shift and then double click (while keeping the Shift key pressed) on the desired batch for that item.
3. This issues all the remaining stock for the selected batch saving you from having to enter the quantity and decimal points.
The above process is ideal for carrying out inventory adjustments where you have to remove small remaining quantities.
